Emergency services battled a fire at a recycling facility overnight.
Cork County Fire Service said fire crews from Fermoy, Midleton and Cork City were in attendance at the blaze in a commercial waste facility in Glanmire, which started at around midnight.
The recycling plant in the Sarsfield Court industrial estate is owned by Greenstar, the waste firm.
CCFS added at 5.16am that the fire was under control but firefighting operations would continue for a number of hours.
Pictures from the scene show a cherry picker being used, and a final picture shows the building flooded with water and debris as the fire is put out.
Cork City Fire Brigade added: “At 23:58 last night a crew from Ballyvolane, a hydraulic platform and a water tanker were called to an Industrial Fire in Sarsfields Court Industrial estate in Glanmire.
“CCFB crews fought the blaze with Cork County Fire Service, Fermoy and Midleton crews until approximately 04:00.”
No injuries have been reported.
This is the third fire in five years at the plant, with the first incident in 2015 taking three days to put out.
A second blaze hit the facility in October 2017.
