Johnson Co. Recycling Tox Box reopens Monday

FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Johnson County Recycling District (JCRD) will reopen its Tox Box for residential use starting this Monday, March 11, at 1051 Hospital Rd., in Franklin. The general hours of operation are every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The following items are welcomed at the tox box: household cleaning supplies, yard and pool chemicals, automotive fluids, plus oil-based paint
and stain. No latex paint or batteries will be accepted.

The JCRD Tox Box is for Johnson County residents only, and not for businesses or contractors. Call the Johnson County Recycling District office at 738-2546 for more information or visit their web site at www.jcrd.org.
