BRADENTON – SouthTech, a technology solutions provider serving businesses in Southwest Florida, has teamed up with the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance to host the Fall 2019 Data Dump. The event will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on October 11 in the parking lot off LWR Main Street. Attendees can bring old electronics to be securely recycled at no cost.
A biannual event made possible by Quicksilver Recycling Services, SouthTech encourages locals to recycle their old and outdated technology in a clean, sustainable manner. There will be a business card drop with several prizes. The Data Dump will be held on Friday, October 11th and located in parking lot just off of LWR Main Street.
“While it’s crucial that we get our clients operating on the best devices, we also need to make sure we’re properly disposing of the old ones. Not just for security reasons, but for environmental reasons as well,” said SouthTech’s President, Paul Hoffman.
SouthTech has enlisted the help of the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance and Lakewood Ranch Community Activities to help spread awareness and encourage the community to participate.
“We’re excited to partner with SouthTech to provide this opportunity to the Lakewood Ranch community,” said Dom DiMaio, LWRBA President/CEO. “We recognize the need to dispose of electronics in a responsible and secure manner, and we are looking forward to offering a convenient and easy solution for our member businesses and the residents of Lakewood Ranch.”
