MOORESTOWN, NJ – Burlington County officials have announced its recycling collection schedule change for the upcoming holidays. In Moorestown, recycling will be collected on Thursday, Dec. 27. The regular collection schedule resumes on Monday, Jan. 7.
Due to recent drastic changes in the recycling markets, residents are asked to remove packing contents, like foam and plastic wrap that contaminate the recycling stream and flatten boxes before recycling.
In the event of overflow, residents should use Moorestown’s recycling drop-off. Additionally, they should consider holding on to recyclables until next collection or taking them to municipal recycling drop-offs in case of a windy day, snow or ice storms.
