Lake Ozark Officials Want to Clarify Confusion on New Recycling Policy

There’s apparently been some confusion caused by a new recycling policy in Lake Ozark. The city’s Board of Aldermen recently entered into an agreement with Laclede Industries that allows city residents to recycle for free. The problem is that some people who aren’t eligible for the program think they are, based on their zip codes. Residents who live in the Horseshoe Bend area either live in Village of Four Seasons or Camden County. They have to pay the fees to recycle. Despite the fact that they share the city’s zip code of 65049, they are not in city limits and are not eligible for the benefit of free recycling.
