The Rotary Club of LaSalle Centennial will host its third annual electronics recycling, clothing drive and shredding event next month.

The event will run June 1 and 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the Zehrs parking lot on Malden Road. Document shredding is only available on the Saturday and will be done at a secure off-site location after the collection. The cost is $10 per banker’s box, $2 of which will be donated back to the Rotary Club. Documents should be free of plastic, hanging file folders, clips and elastics. Paper clips and staples are acceptable.

Donated clothing should be in plastic bags. It will go to support the Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy.

Acceptable electronic items include: televisions, monitors, portable computers, computer peripherals, printers, copiers, cellphones, pagers, telephone answering machines, audio/visual equipment, speakers and cables.
